Attack Of The Killer Kyoto Tomato

Tomatoes and humans have had an oft strange relationship on the screen. Remember the Simpsons episode where Homer accidentally created a hybrid tomato and tobacco plant? Everyone hated the taste but they couldn’t get enough of that sweet tomacco goodness.
Then there’s George Clooney’s big screen debut in the sequel to Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, imaginatively entitled Return of the Killer Tomatoes! whose IMDB entry summarizes the plot thus:

Crazy old Professor Gangreen has developed a way to make tomatoes look human for a second invasion.

Seems like the Prof has nothing on Mother Nature, who’s been busy in Kyoto making her very own human tomato.
