Japanese Public Information Pamphlets

You got to love municipal buildings - they’re a wealth of useful information, all wrapped up in cutesy packaging. Here’s a couple - one warning the public about the dangers of dodgy building firms, who prey on the elderly by telling them they need a bunch of renovations. Builders who are, mostly, represented by すっぽん, or snapping turtles - once they bite, they don’t let go.
Watch Out For Evil Builders! (front)
Then there’s another, warning you not to trust spiders who have phones and wear clothes. Something I had never assumed would be dangerous, but there you go. This scam (払はないで harau ha naide) is one close to my heart - one variation bombards your phone with emails inviting you to click on free sex sites. Should you be stupid enough to do so, you get contacted with a massive bill saying you spent millions of yen on the website.
Stop! Harawanaide! (main)

You can see the rest of these two pamphlets over at the gallery. (Link.)
