Setsubun Video
Many thanks to JB for the previous informative Setsubun posts. Rae was fortunate enough to go to the Shizuoka Sengen Shrine, video camera in hand, and got some interesting footage. She also got hit in the head by a flying rice cake. Ladies and Gentlemen, until we get the High-Def video sorted out, please enjoy the Sushimatic Setsubun Shizuoka Sengen Shrine video. (YouTube)

Hi there, minasan konichiwa.
Its weird to find this video, I also stay in the same festival at Shizuoka the past February 3 with my family.
I really enjoy to jump and trying to catch candies with my daughter in my shoulder.
Even there was a lot of people jumping, inside the crow, you never feel any dangerus from anybody there.

It’s all true.
Funky local Sumo wrestler was throwing the anti demon beans… and candy… and a rather hard rice cake.
